Well Cleveland officially has their hometown boy back. They defiantly gave him welcome home that he will never forget. The entire city packed into Quicken Loans Arena and into bars and around their televisions to witness their hero’s return. It may have been bitter-sweet for someone looking from the outside because the Cavs lost to the Knicks but I can assure you, no one in Cleveland cares.
The atmosphere inside Quicken Loans Arena could have been easily mistaken for a game 7 in the NBA Finals. Pre-game is where the magic happened. See it for yourself:
Red lights flashing everywhere and the iconic chalk toss, Lebron is back. I think the most telling video is the Nike ad that showed before the introductions began. The city of Cleveland welcoming back James with a massive huddle, together:
