The much-anticipated release of the Cleveland Browns brand spanking new logos is here, and to be honest I couldn’t tell the difference.
The primary logo of the orange helmet has very little changes. “The orange is brighter and richer and matches the passion of our fans and city,” according to the team. The face mask is now brown instead of the old gray.
the most notable change of the primary logo is the wordmark. The that features a bolder sans font.

The big changes are found in the secondary logo. Formerly a full dog face, the new logo hosts an outline of a snarling dog.
The team will also unveil their new uniforms on April 14.
Browns President Alec Scheiner commented on the new looks for the team, “In redesigning our uniforms and modernizing our logos, our primary focus was honoring the Browns’ cherished history and recognizing the transformation of Cleveland. As always, we spent significant time engaging with our fans during this process and took a very methodical approach the past two years to determine certain core characteristics symbolic of our great city”
